Hi, I’m Jonna Leanne Patel. I’m an actor and creative working and living in Atlanta, GA.

Jonna grew up in a small town in Alabama and with little to do, took to producing music videos with friends. After acting at a young age in local theatre, she found her passion for and production and performing years later while in college and she and her college friends revived Charger Cast, an improvised student-run news series. Before fully realizing it, Jonna had already embarked on her improv journey.

After moving to Atlanta, she immersed herself in the city's vibrant improv scene, studying at various improv studios weekly and mastering the basics of live performance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she expanded her skills by studying with the Second City Training Center in Toronto, completing courses in Improv for Anxiety and all levels of Improv. Her dedication earned her a place in the Conservatory, where she continued to refine her craft.

Jonna also has a Master’s in Education from the University of West Georgia and prefers to teach improv any chance she can. She is an advocate for offering low cost improv classes and opportunities to all levels, and believes improv is one of the best ways to change your personal and professional life.

When Jonna isn't teaching or performing, she enjoys "playing" ultimate frisbee, snuggling with animals, and, despite her initial resistance, has fallen in love with drinking sparkling water.
